From: Alyssa Rosenzweig <alyssa@rosenzweig.io>

Add a minimal driver to bring up the PCIe bus on Apple system-on-chips,
particularly the Apple M1. This driver exposes the internal bus used for
the USB type-A ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Bringing up the
radios requires additional drivers beyond what's necessary for PCIe
itself.

At this stage, nothing is functionnal.

I think this should be

    rmw_set(PORT_APPCLK_EN, port->base + PORT_APPCLK);

I don't think this barrier is required.

Looks good to me otherwise,

Don't change error codes.

Or just removed if this was tested and worked.

Ouch. Well caught. I wonder how many of these I introduced...:-/

It really isn't, and I though I had removed it. I now wonder whether I
have pushed out the right branch, or messed up by moving from one
machine to another...

Yup, good point. There is another instance of that when setting up a
port.

That's probably the point where I find out that it only worked because
I was corrupting memory in bizarre ways. Oh well.
