Cast pointers to unsigned long instead of a sized 32-bit type to avoid
pointer to integer cast size mismatch warnings.

Looks like some other form of this patch is already applied. Please
verify that there is nothing from this patch that still needs to be
applied. If there is something, please send a v2.
