This is a note to let you know that I have just added a patch titled radeon/kms: force rn50 chip to always report connected on to the linux-3.5.y-queue branch of the 3.5.y.z extended stable tree which can be found at: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=ubuntu/linux.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/linux-3.5.y-queue If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to this tree, please reply to this email. For more information about the 3.5.y.z tree, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/Dev/ExtendedStable Thanks. -Herton ------ From c46ea1ae052429ff9e382746191d7d1315da907b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jerome Glisse <jglisse@redhat.com> Date: Tue, 8 Jan 2013 18:41:01 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] radeon/kms: force rn50 chip to always report connected on analog output commit 51861d4eebc2ddc25c77084343d060fa79f6e291 upstream. Those rn50 chip are often connected to console remoting hw and load detection often fails with those. Just don't try to load detect and report connect.
