Without\nthis information, NFS exports of ISO 9660 filesystems cannot\nproperly advertise their filename case behavior.\n\nImplement isofs_fileattr_get() to report ISO 9660 case handling\nbehavior via the FS_XFLAG_CASEFOLD flag. The 'check=r' (relaxed)\nmount option enables case-insensitive lookups, and this setting\ndetermines the value reported. By default, Joliet extensions\noperate in relaxed mode while plain ISO 9660 uses strict\n(case-sensitive) mode. All ISO 9660 variants are case-preserving,\nmeaning filenames are stored exactly as they appear on the disc.\n\nThe callback is registered only on isofs_dir_inode_operations\nbecause isofs has no custom inode_operations for regular\nfiles, and symlinks use the generic page_symlink_inode_operations.\n\nReviewed-by: Jan Kara <jack@suse.cz>\nSigned-off-by: Chuck Lever <chuck.lever@oracle.com>\n---\n fs/isofs/dir.c | 15 +++++++++++++++\n 1 file changed, 15 insertions(+)", "diff": "diff --git a/fs/isofs/dir.c b/fs/isofs/dir.c\nindex 2ca16c3fe5ef..225124eefa46 100644\n--- a/fs/isofs/dir.c\n+++ b/fs/isofs/dir.c\n@@ -14,6 +14,7 @@\n #include <linux/gfp.h>\n #include <linux/filelock.h>\n #include \"isofs.h\"\n+#include <linux/fileattr.h>\n \n int isofs_name_translate(struct iso_directory_record *de, char *new, struct inode *inode)\n {\n@@ -267,6 +268,19 @@ static int isofs_readdir(struct file *file, struct dir_context *ctx)\n \treturn result;\n }\n \n+static int isofs_fileattr_get(struct dentry *dentry, struct file_kattr *fa)\n+{\n+\tstruct isofs_sb_info *sbi = ISOFS_SB(dentry->d_sb);\n+\n+\t/*\n+\t * FS_XFLAG_CASEFOLD indicates case-insensitive lookups.\n+\t * When check=r (relaxed) is set, lookups ignore case.\n+\t */\n+\tif (sbi->s_check == 'r')\n+\t\tfa->fsx_xflags |= FS_XFLAG_CASEFOLD;\n+\treturn 0;\n+}\n+\n const struct file_operations isofs_dir_operations =\n {\n \t.llseek = generic_file_llseek,\n@@ -281,6 +295,7 @@ const struct file_operations isofs_dir_operations =\n const struct inode_operations isofs_dir_inode_operations =\n {\n \t.lookup = isofs_lookup,\n+\t.fileattr_get = isofs_fileattr_get,\n };\n \n \n", "prefixes": [ "v8", "14/17" ] }
