So for example we were claiming to advertise source mode\nmacvlan and we were doing nothing of the sort, so support for that has been\ndropped.\n\nThe biggest change with this set is that broadcast/multicast replication is\nno longer being supported in software. I am dropping it as it leads to\nscaling issues when a broadcast frame has to be replciated up to 64 times.\n\nBeyond that this set goes through and optimized the time needed to bring up\nand tear down the macvlan interfaces on ixgbe and provides a clean way for\nus to disable the macvlan offload when needed.\n\n---\n\nAlexander Duyck (10):\n ixgbe: Drop support for macvlan specific unicast lists\n macvlan: Rename fwd_priv to accel_priv and add accessor function\n macvlan: Use software path for offloaded local, broadcast, and multicast traffic\n ixgbe/fm10k: Drop tracking stats for macvlan broadcast/multicast\n macvlan: macvlan_count_rx shouldn't be static inline AND extern\n macvlan: Add function to test for destination filtering support\n macvlan: Provide function for interfaces to release HW offload\n ixgbe/fm10k: Only support macvlan offload for types that support hairpin switching\n ixgbe: Drop real_adapter from l2 fwd acceleration structure\n ixgbe: Avoid performing unnecessary resets for macvlan offload\n\n\n drivers/net/ethernet/intel/fm10k/fm10k_main.c | 7 -\n drivers/net/ethernet/intel/fm10k/fm10k_netdev.c | 12 +\n drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ixgbe/ixgbe.h | 1 \n drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ixgbe/ixgbe_main.c | 306 +++++++++++++----------\n drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ixgbe/ixgbe_sriov.c | 5 \n drivers/net/macvlan.c | 68 +++--\n include/linux/if_macvlan.h | 29 ++\n 7 files changed, 243 insertions(+), 185 deletions(-)\n\n--" }
