The first commit, 62e62ffd95,\nwas already applied to Xenial with the 4.4.79 updates.\n\nWithout these patches, the symlink in sysfs which binds a SAS device to an enclosure \nslot does not get created. This makes disk hotplug near impossible on large \nJBOD disk drawers.\n\nThere are three prereq commits in order to apply commit 9373eba6c to Xenial. Those\ncommits are listed in the 'Fixes' section of this SRU request.\n\nThis fix is also needed in Zesty, but that SRU was sent separately because Zesty\nrequired only commit 62e62ffd95.\n\n\n== Fixes ==\nPrereq:\ncommit bcf508c13385e74972f5cc06d8471d5c100395b0\nAuthor: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@HansenPartnership.com>\nDate: Wed Dec 9 11:13:35 2015 -0800\n\n scsi_transport_sas: add function to get SAS endpoint address\n\nPrereq:\ncommit 3f8d6f2a0797e8c650a47e5c1b5c2601a46f4293\nAuthor: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@HansenPartnership.com>\nDate: Wed Dec 9 12:56:07 2015 -0800\n\n ses: fix discovery of SATA devices in SAS enclosures\n\nPrereq:\ncommit c1a23f6d64552b4480208aa584ec7e9c13d6d9c3\nAuthor: Johannes Thumshirn <jthumshirn@suse.de>\nDate: Wed Aug 17 11:46:16 2016 +0200\n\n scsi: sas: provide stub implementation for scsi_is_sas_rphy\n \nReal fix:\ncommit 9373eba6cfae48911b977d14323032cd5d161aae\nAuthor: Ewan D.
