All the patches look reasonable, but the risk is to make amdgpu really hard to maintain if we need to apply stable updates / security fixes. So, I'd like to better understand the motivation of this backport. If this is a requirement for OEM-5.14 what would be the downside of maintaining this only in the OEM-5.14 tree? Thanks, -Andrea

Even if the backport is pretty big the code that is touched seems to be limited to drm/amd, therefore it seems reasonable to apply it, even if it could introduce potential conflicts when we're going to apply stable updates. In any case, for now: applied to J/5.15. -Andrea
