This is a good idea - we get at first blick what the board support.

It is better to have a for loop here and use true and false for the
boolean parameter.

I admit I have not understood the switch case. I understand that getcd()
is not used at all. In mmc_init() you have already checked that you can
instantiate only two controllers and it is not required to check it
again. The function can be simply :

I think this function can be easier written as for  cgtqmx6eval board,
without the loop and or-ing the return status.

It looks weird. It seems that phydev->drv->config is firstly set, and
then you overload board_phy_config to avoid using it. If yes, it is
should enough to not set drv->config, because this is the default
behavior of board_phy_config()
