- no changelogs in code
- no banners
- use local buffers
- fix probe sequence
- do not init .driver.bus

... though what I meant about the #ifdef DS3234_DEBUG was
just that the #ifdef is superfluous.  It's also OK to remove
those not-that-useful multiline debug dumps though.
