The phrase "Supports several hundreds of packages" is unusual to hear in
English (or at least American English). The more common alternatives are
"Supports several hundred packages" or "Supports hundreds of packages".
The latter sounds like a larger amount, so change the phrase to that.

Oh! We have another english pedant! Great, that will be even more fun! :-)
(note: consider me as the first on that list! ;-) )

Although I would have preferred "several hundred packages" which sounds
a little bit more sophisticated! ;-]

/me hides, now...

Yeah, I normally wouldn't submit changes like this. However, the back
story is that I pointed someone to the Buildroot website and they got
all distracted by the phrasing. I don't know why, but it seemed easy
enough to fix.

Yes, sure. Many of us are not native english speakers (I am not), so our
phrasing might be weird at times. I'm gratefull that someone is
providing fixes! ;-)

(although I was very afraid by the title "rephrase several hundreds of
packages", and I feared that would be a huge patch. It was not! :-) )

Yann E. MORIN.
