Let's clarify the issue in the Ubuntu wiki, and have the kernel emit a link to it. I've submitted a similar change upstream: https://marc.info/?l=linux-raid&m=157360088014027&w=2 Should it get merged, we should consider replacing this patch with that one. Otherwise, it is probably safe to drop this SAUCE patch after focal.
