Signed-off-by: Johann Baudy --- As I start to receive few mails from people that are now using this feature, I would like to discuss with you if it is possible to integrate this patch in the kernel under CONFIG_PACKET_MMAP feature flag. More details (example of using, patch 2.4,2.6 ...) can be found at: http://wiki.ipxwarzone.com/index.php5?title=Linux_packet_mmap This feature is based on PACKET_RX_RING mechanism. I've implemented a parallel mechanism for TX that can send multiple packets to device in one system call thanks to mmapped memory. It uses skb destructor and mmapped memory (status flag) to indicate user that packet has been sent and buffer is now free for new sending. It also adds some abstraction functions/structures to prevent code redundancy.
