Also: Please use scripts/get_maintainers.pl to get a list of necessary people and lists to CC (and consider --no-git-fallback argument). It might happen, that command when run on an older kernel, gives you outdated entries. Therefore please be sure you base your patches on recent Linux kernel. Tools like b4 or scripts/get_maintainer.pl provide you proper list of people, so fix your workflow. Tools might also fail if you work on some ancient tree (don't, instead use mainline), work on fork of kernel (don't, instead use mainline) or you ignore some maintainers (really don't). Just use b4 and everything should be fine, although remember about `b4 prep --auto-to-cc` if you added new patches to the patchset. Best regards, Krzysztof

It's a broken email thread. Driver is there, but soemthing has gone wrong with sending. Arthur, if this is a company email setup thing, consider the b4 web portal method for v2. To be clear, the bit about "standalone" was compared to putting it in trivial-devices.yaml, not to do with the threading and it being a patch without a driver.

In many cases supplies are hardwired to on, but it the regulator framework will happily deal with that by supplying a fake regulator. The binding should however reflect that the sensor needs power and list it as required. Ideal is dts files that do list fixed supplies but the fallback to a fake one will work if not.
