you're right, I forgot that.

hum... and now that I read the COPYING file, I understand why I didn't
fill the IPERF_LICENSE : it's not a "known" license :

Looks very similar to the MIT license (http://opensource.org/licenses/MIT). 
IANAL, though.

Yes, that's very close to the MIT license.
So I would go with
IPERF_LICENSE = MIT-like
