This is a note to let you know that I have just added a patch titled drivers/rtc/rtc-isl1208.c: call rtc_update_irq() from the to the linux-3.5.y-queue branch of the 3.5.y.z extended stable tree which can be found at: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=ubuntu/linux.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/linux-3.5.y-queue If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to this tree, please reply to this email. For more information about the 3.5.y.z tree, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/Dev/ExtendedStable Thanks. -Herton ------ From 11631fe999bed2de24a265b5c5ff85651d243cf6 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jan Luebbe <jlu@pengutronix.de> Date: Mon, 4 Feb 2013 14:28:53 -0800 Subject: [PATCH] drivers/rtc/rtc-isl1208.c: call rtc_update_irq() from the alarm irq handler commit 72fca4a4b32dc778b5b885c3498700e42b610d49 upstream. Previously the alarm event was not propagated into the RTC subsystem. By adding a call to rtc_update_irq, this fixes a timeout problem with the hwclock utility.
