Hi Colin: If now a method is marked as N, is it really not a thing to be implemented in fwts any soon? n/a means it has the potential to be implemented? (though still some like _STM is IDE-only but is marked as n/a, IMO it may not be of high priority I guess). (though still some > like _STM is IDE-only but is marked as n/a, IMO it may not be of high > priority I guess). n/a means "not applicable", that is, I've deemed it either impossible to sanely test, or it is not worth testing (since it's not really used by any firmware) or it is too much effort to write code for it and/or it may not just work consistently. The comments are mainly so I can keep track of what needs implementing. I've done a statistical analysis of quite a lot of firmware now and I've got a hot list of tests that need implementing and ones that just are not worth bothering about. There is no real right or wrong answer to the "n/a" judgement I made, it just means I've looked at implementing it and deemed it not worth doing. If anyone wants to implement the "n/a" tests or "N" I'm happy for them to step in and send patches ;-) Hope that clarifies things.
