sparc: Merge sparc_ksyms_{32,64}.c

Signed-off-by: Julian Calaby <julian.calaby@gmail.com>

---

Sorry about the formatting of this patch, I can't seem to convince git
to recognise that sparc_ksyms.c is modified from sparc_ksyms_64.c

Sigh.

Furthermore, this is a rather mechanical patch that produces a huge set
of ifdefs - I've shuffled some of the code to reduce these, but..... -
so I'm not going to be surprised if you ask me to re-do it.

Oh, and this also changes the order of the declarations in both SPARC32
and SPARC64, but it shouldn't be an issue.

Anyway, this has been built on SPARC64 and an equivalent patch has been
boot tested on SPARC64.

Thanks,

Julian Calaby

Sigh.

There's some other cleanups I have to do before I should really do
this ... so don't apply this for now, and I'll send this, and my other
patch for today in a series in a couple of days.

Thanks for understanding =)

Hi Julian.

As a first step before trying to merge these two files
all EXPORT_SYMBOL() that exports symbols defined in .C files
shall be moved out to their respective definition site.

So when you see:

sparc_ksyms.c:
EXPORT_SYMBOL(foobar);

foo.c:

int foobar(int bar)
{
	...
}
EXPORT_SYMBOL(foobar); <== This is the line you shall add

Notice that we put the EXPORT_SYMBOL right after the closing '}'
with no blank lines in-between.

You also need to pay attention to all the
prototypes and extern's in the sparc_kysms.c files.

If they are still needed they belong to a header file.
We have today:

entry.h - this is all the functions defined in .S files
          It has a common part and a sparc32 and a sparc64 specific part

kernel.h - this is all prototypes defined in arch/sparc/kernel/ and
not used outside arch/sparc/kernel/.

But some of them will naturally no longer be used.

   extern spinlock_t rtc_lock;

is only contained in sparc_ksyms_*.c because the EXPORT_SYMBOL()
is there. When you move the EXPORT_SYMBOL to the respective
file time_32.c then you no longer need the extern in sparc_ksym_32.c

And look after unused stuff too. I noticed struct poll seems
unused.

This is all straightforward to do it just take some time.
And if you keep your patches sufficienly small then it
should be easy to review too.

	Sam

Ok.

Ok.

Ok.

Some explanation:

This was a (wrong) first step before doing the unification of arch/sparc/prom/*.

I think I'll take some of the lower hanging fruit first.

After I kill PROMLIB_INTERNAL and the exported definitions of
__prom_*(), I think I'll work on unifying include/asm/oplib_*.h as
that will make later changes smaller.

As for moving the EXPORT_SYMBOL()s out of here, I think I'll leave the
code as it is and eliminate most of the code in kernel/sparc_ksyms_*.c
as a final step.

Thanks for the advice!
