[0/6,SRU,X,+,B/D/E,update] (Re)apply RAID0 layout support

So here is the set of patches Dann already sent for B/D/E backported to
Xenial (#1-#5). There is one additional SAUCE patch (#6) which changes
the behavior to keep using the layout that was used before and just warn
about that in syslog. That patch is the same for X/B/D/E and should be
added to the set Dann sent for the other releases.

With that we can roll out the layout support without breaking anybody (at
least not worse than anybody already is). Then follow up with user-space
without having to worry about dependencies.

Using the 6 patch sets, this could again be staged for the next cylcle.

I assume we also want patch 6 applied to focal/unstable?

Never saw a response to my question about this for focal, however it
seems unlikely that we wouldn't want it there as well. Applied the sauce
patch only to focal/master-next and unstable/master, thanks!
