Would you be OK if we did this after this small series\n> got merged?\n\nI don't mind much, but I'd have thought being that it's all new code,\nadding the check would be pretty easy.\n\n    if (get_paca()->in_mce == 4) {}\n\n(Probably with the '4' appropriately #defined out of here and the\nexception-64s.S code)\n\n> Since that would mean that we got a UE error\n> while processing the our third machine check exception, I think the\n> probability of us running into that is low, but I'd definitely like to do that\n> once these changes are merged.\n\nIf we're getting UEs in the machine check code or walking kernel\npage tables though, it will just keep recurring. Unlikely yes, but\nit's still a slight regression.\n\nThanks,\nNick","headers":{"Return-Path":"<linuxppc-dev-bounces+patchwork-incoming=ozlabs.org@lists.ozlabs.org>","X-Original-To":["patchwork-incoming@ozlabs.org","linuxppc-dev@lists.ozlabs.org"],"Delivered-To":["patchwork-incoming@ozlabs.org","linuxppc-dev@lists.ozlabs.org"],"Received":["from lists.ozlabs.org (lists.ozlabs.org [103.22.144.68])\n\t(using TLSv1.2 with cipher ADH-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits))\n\t(No client certificate requested)\n\tby ozlabs.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 3xsbDY2CXPz9sPk\n\tfor <patchwork-incoming@ozlabs.org>;\n\tWed, 13 Sep 2017 18:58:37 +1000 (AEST)","from lists.ozlabs.org (lists.ozlabs.org [IPv6:2401:3900:2:1::3])\n\tby lists.ozlabs.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3xsbDY0VsHzDqjK\n\tfor <patchwork-incoming@ozlabs.org>;\n\tWed, 13 Sep 2017 18:58:37 +1000 (AEST)","from mail-pf0-x235.google.com (mail-pf0-x235.google.com\n\t[IPv6:2607:f8b0:400e:c00::235])\n\t(using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256 (128/128\n\tbits)) (No client certificate requested)\n\tby lists.ozlabs.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 3xsbBN4KzFzDqNh\n\tfor <linuxppc-dev@lists.ozlabs.org>;\n\tWed, 13 Sep 2017 18:56:44 +1000 (AEST)","by mail-pf0-x235.google.com with SMTP id e199so22541935pfh.3\n\tfor <linuxppc-dev@lists.ozlabs.org>;\n\tWed, 13 Sep 2017 01:56:43 -0700 (PDT)","from roar.ozlabs.ibm.com (203-219-56-202.tpgi.com.au.\n\t[203.219.56.202]) by smtp.gmail.com with ESMTPSA id\n\t188sm24392872pfe.171.2017.09.13.01.56.39\n\t(version=TLS1_2 cipher=ECDHE-RSA-CHACHA20-POLY1305 bits=256/256);\n\tWed, 13 Sep 2017 01:56:41 -0700 (PDT)"],"Authentication-Results":["ozlabs.org;\n\tdkim=fail reason=\"signature verification failed\" (2048-bit key;\n\tunprotected) header.d=gmail.com header.i=@gmail.com\n\theader.b=\"uekJcrvG\";
